Refund and Cancellation Policy

At First-Talk, we strive to provide the best possible experience for our clients. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which refunds and cancellations are processed for our online counseling services.


 

1. Refund Policy

a. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: If a session is unable to take place due to technical difficulties on our end.
  • Counselor Unavailability: If your assigned counselor is unavailable and no alternative counselor or rescheduling option is provided.
  • Prepaid Packages: Unused sessions in a prepaid package may be refunded on a prorated basis if requested within [05 business days] of purchase.

b. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Sessions canceled without proper notice as per our cancellation policy.
  • Completed counseling sessions.
  • Subscription-based plans once the billing cycle has started, unless otherwise specified.

c. Processing Refunds

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [firstevertalk@gmail.com].
  • Approved refunds will be processed within [03 business days] and credited back to the original payment method.

 

2. Cancellation Policy

a. Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • Individual Sessions:

    • Cancellations must be made at least [24 hours] before the scheduled session.
    • Cancellations made within this timeframe are eligible for rescheduling or a full refund.
    • Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
  • Prepaid Packages:

    • Clients may cancel unused sessions within a package and request a refund for the remaining balance on a prorated basis.
  • Subscription Plans:

    • Subscription plans can be canceled at any time. Cancellation will prevent auto-renewal but does not grant refunds for the current billing cycle.

b. Platform-Initiated Cancellations

In rare cases, we may need to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances. If this happens:

  • You will be notified promptly.
  • You may reschedule the session at no additional cost or request a refund.

  • Screen Shot of advance Payment

4. Exceptions

This policy does not cover situations involving emergency services or sessions interrupted due to client-side issues such as technical difficulties or lack of preparation.


 

5. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Website.
